🌱 Planting & Care Instructions
Planting these 'octopus' shaped corms is easy, and a little prep goes a long way!
Soak: Before planting, soak your corms in room-temperature water for 3 to 4 hours. They will plump up, sometimes doubling in size—do not oversoak, as this can lead to rot!
Prepare the Soil: Choose a spot with full sun and, most importantly, well-draining soil.Mix in a generous amount of compost to ensure good drainage. Ranunculus do not tolerate soggy roots!
Planting: Plant the corms with the 'claw' or 'tentacle' end facing down, about 2 inches deep and 4 to 6 inches apart.
Watering: Water thoroughly once after planting. Refrain from watering again until you see sprouts or the soil is dry a few inches down. Keep the soil moist, but never soggy, while they are actively growing.
Protection: Ranunculus love cool weather but cannot tolerate below 26 degrees,
